About 20ft Shipping Containers
20ft containers are designed to carry small volumes of heavy cargo, such as machinery, cement and steel. These qualities make them ideal for the storage of large items—like farming and construction equipment—or for re-use as the frame of a modular home.

20ft Container Conditions
20ft Used Containers
If you're looking for a budget-friendly container for static storage purposes, we recommend purchasing a used 20ft shipping container.
Used 20ft containers have been retired by the world's shipping lines after around 15-20 years of use. While they can no longer be stacked on a cargo ship, they are still guaranteed to be weatherproof, with doors and floors that function properly.
Looking for a cost-effective alternative to renting a storage unit or building a shed? Choose a 20ft used container.
20ft New Containers
If you're looking for a box to transform into a container office, home, or pool, we recommend purchasing a new 20ft container.
20ft new containers, also known as “one-trips”, have been used once before being sold for non-shipping purposes. They may have picked up a few scuffs from their journey—but they won’t require any upfront maintenance or painting.
Need a good-looking unit with the option of a beige color guarantee? Choose a 20ft one-trip container.
